Grilled Salted Egg York Chicken Rolls

Ingredients

Chicken Whole Legs
2 pcs
Salted Egg Yolks
6 pcs
Plastic Bag

Aluminium Foil
1 Sheet
Maltose
1 tbsp
Corn Flour
1 tbsp
Egg Yolk
1/2

Seasonings

Corn Flour
1 tbsp
Sesame Oil
1 tbsp
Chinese Cooking Wine
1/2 tbsp
Chicken Powder
1/2 tbsp
Sugar
1 tbsp
Soy Sauce
1 tbsp
Salt & Pepper
Dash

Steps

Clean and debone the 2 chicken whole legs.

Combine all condiments ingredients:
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp sesame oil
½ tbsp Chinese cooking wine
½ tsp chicken powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
Dash of salt &

Marinate chicken whole legs with condiments for ½ hour.

Place 6 pcs salted egg yolks in plastic bag.
Mash salted egg yolks using pastry roller.

Divide into 2 portions; roll up tightly into long strips.

Flatten the aluminum foil, place marinated chicken on top.
Sprinkle over some corn flour, place egg yolk roll on top and roll up tightly.

Place into Sharp Healsio Superheated Steam Oven.
Fill water tank with water, press Manual Steam, select STEAM HIGH, set 15 minutes and press START.

Remove chicken rolls from the oven discard the aluminum foil.
Brush chicken rolls with maltose.

Put into Sharp Healsio Superheated Steam Oven again.
Select SUPER STEAM CONVECTION, choose MANUAL SUPER STEAM GRILL WITH PREHEAT, set 10 minutes and press START to cook.

Divide into 2 portions; roll up tightly into long strips.
And ready to be served.
