Ingredients

Milk
250ml
Seedless Dates

Brown Sugar

Eggs

Flour
250g
Bicarbonate Soda
1 tbsp
Cinnamon Powder
1 tbsp
Salt
¼ tbsp
Crushed toasted almond nuts

Lemon Zest
1 tbsp
Cream Cheese
250g
Icing Sugar

Seasonings

Steps

Place the seedless dates in milk.
Place it inside Sharp Healsio Superheated Steam Oven, press MANUAL COOK, select MICRO MODE, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select 800 watt, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select timing 2 MINUTES, press ENTER.
Blend the seedless dates & milk well.

Blend the butter & sugar together.
Blend mixture till colour turns pale.
Add the 5 eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla essence.

Sieve all the dry ingredients together.
Add in the crushed almond nuts and mix well.
Pour flour mixture into the batter (in 3 parts).
Pour date mixture into the batter (in 3 parts) as well.

Ensure all ingredients are mixed well.
Use a spatula to fold in the mixture.

Pour the cake mixture into the baking tray.
Preheat Healsio Superheated Steam Over, press MANUAL COOK, select CONVECTION MODE, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select TRAY 1, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select PREHEAT MODE, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select TEMPERATURE 180°c, press ENTER.

Place the cake mixture into the Healsio Oven.
Press MANUAL COOK, select CONVECTION MODE, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select TRAY 1, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select TEMPERATURE 180°c, press ENTER.
Turn knob, select Timing 50 minutes, press ENTER.

Add butter, cream cheese & lemon zest to the mixer.
Blend them together.
Blend mixture till colour turns pale.
Add icing sugar.
Blend mixture till well mixed.

Spread on the icing.
Sandwich the icing with top portion of the cake.
Spread on the icing over the whole cake.
Decorate with small chucks of dates & almond pieces.
